I came to New York from Seoul, South Korea with a full itinerary, but New York Harbor became the part of the trip I kept returning to.
I took the ferry with no destination beyond a little space to think. As Manhattan moved farther away and the harbor opened around me, the future felt wider too. This was not an escape from the city. It was a new way of meeting it—with patience, courage, and the understanding that self-love can also deserve a photograph and a place in the story.
