Your submission
You confirm that you are at least 18, the information you provide is accurate, you own the photograph or have permission from the copyright owner, and every identifiable person pictured agrees to the submission and selected visibility. If a minor is pictured, you must be their parent or legal guardian or have clear permission from one.
My NYC and change requests
Email verification may create password-free access to My NYC for pages connected to that email. Keep access to your email and signed-in devices secure. Edits, visibility changes, and removal requests do not become effective immediately: they remain subject to review. Until approval, the current published version may remain available.
Public profile details
If you provide a display name, location you are from or based in, profession or role, bio, social profiles, website, booking page, or another public link for a public story, you authorize us to display those details on the story page after review. You confirm that the details are yours to share and do not impersonate or misrepresent another person or organization.
You keep ownership
You retain ownership of your photograph and original writing. You grant Love in NYC a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, review, edit for clarity and presentation, crop, format, display, reproduce, and distribute the submitted material as needed to operate your story page, the NYC Stories collection, sharing tools, link previews, branded downloads, and Reels. You may request removal through the Contact page.
Optional promotional permission
If you select the optional promotional permission, Love in NYC may feature the approved story on its official social-media channels and promotional materials. Declining does not affect whether your story can be approved. You may withdraw permission for future promotional use through the Contact page, although we cannot reverse sharing, caching, or copying already completed by third parties.
Review and presentation
Submission does not guarantee publication. We may approve, reject, unpublish, correct grammar, shorten text, select a category, assign a story number, crop the photograph for different formats, or remove content that violates these terms, creates legal or safety concerns, or does not fit the project.
Official download formats
An approved owner may receive a personal story page, branded photo formats, and Reels through a private link. Layout, timing, and framing may vary while we try to preserve the main subject and visible faces.
Public and private sharing
Public pages and their photographs may be indexed, cached, copied, or shared by other people and third-party services outside our control. Private pages are omitted from the public collection, but anyone with the page link may still access or forward it. Keep the separate owner link private because it may include download controls.
Respectful use
Do not submit unlawful, threatening, deceptive, invasive, explicit, hateful, harassing, infringing, commercially spammy, or harmful content, or sensitive information without permission.
No guarantee of results
We do not guarantee publication, permanence, search indexing, social-media reach, engagement, traffic, or any other result.
Optional professional profiles
You may add public professional information and third-party links when you are authorized to represent them. Love in NYC does not endorse, verify, broker, or guarantee any listed service or transaction. We may edit, decline, disable, or remove profile details and links for safety, accuracy, relevance, or editorial quality.

The service is provided as available. Features, formats, eligibility, and these terms may change, pause, or end as the project develops.
