I live in Long Island City, Queens, and The High Line is one of those New York places that keeps changing with me.
Above the streets, the High Line offered a different rhythm: gardens beside old tracks, new buildings beside weathered brick, and the city framed from unexpected angles. The walk became a reminder of why New York stays with people. It is always becoming something new without completely letting go of what came before.
