I finally met the skyline

My meetings ended early, and a friend told me not to miss the last clear hour above Manhattan. At street level the city had felt impossible to understand. From the observation deck, every avenue suddenly connected.

I like that I am looking toward the skyline instead of the camera. That is how the moment felt: quiet, focused, and completely absorbed by the city in front of me.
