Behind This NYC Moment
I live in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, and Statue of Liberty is one of those New York places that keeps changing with me.
The island promenade opened toward the statue while the small cake made the landmark moment intimate. I chose the harbor because I wanted space, wind, and a view that made the year ahead feel open. The ferry ride back became part of the celebration too.
