We came to New York from Berlin, Germany with a full itinerary, but Times Square became the part of the trip we kept talking about.
Times Square was loud, crowded, and glowing in every direction. We put on our playful New Year glasses, held up the phone, and caught the exact second anticipation turned into laughter. The photograph was never about looking perfect. It was about beginning another year together in the most unmistakably New York way possible.
